Recent Achievements (as independent researcher, 2008 - present) Dr. Yakisich's has been the senior author of several scientific articles (original research articles and review articles) that introduced novel concepts and strategies preclinical anticancer drug screening. If successful, novel treatment regimes based in these ideas will significantly improve the outcome of clinical trials and actually benefit patients by improving survival rates (leading to a potential cure).
